About This Project
Canopy Retreat reimagines residential living as a dialogue with the forest rather than a clearing of it. Each villa is raised on slender stilt foundations, preserving root systems and natural water flow beneath the structure.
Cross-ventilation, deep eaves, and locally sourced timber reduce reliance on mechanical cooling by an estimated 60% compared to conventional construction in the region.
Shared walkways connect residences to communal gathering pavilions, encouraging a slower, more communal rhythm of daily life.
